More advanced students and solo pilots now get to fly with our new Tasman instruments V1000M audio varios. So fat the feedback is very positive. With the repeater and averager it is so nice to have the instructor and student seeing the same numbers for the first time in years...
After a hard landing we have repaired the forward fuselage and refurbished ZS-GMZ. She is a 1965 Scheibe Bergfalke III, now resplendent in white and blue to distinguish her in the air from GSI's red nose.
Fortunately Hannes and Moira did not suffer any significant injuries. A couple of bruises and sore backs when a launch failed at low altitude. GMZ Landed hard and hit a trench on the landing, destroying the skid..
